FALLEN HOME, EARTH

I do not even have a right to say that we have spelt disaster to our planet, Earth. However, every time we create and try to manipulate many things only to obtain more money. We destroy our water resources, forests, beaches, hills by making new facilities or infrastructures to gain more benefit. And eventually, the consequence is that we generate more pollutions on our environment that we are aware of it or not. Many proves appear and show that our planet is suffering from our interaction with it. For instance, after industrial revolution we had already changed the way of working. We tend to utilise fossil fuel on our daily activity like on farming methods we are helped by machine that consumes oil from unrenewable energy such as coal or other minerals. Whilst on contrary with that time - in agriculture revolution - we were in sedentary lives, we did many things using our physics and began to leave our habit as hunters-gatherers. The result, the environment stayed on its equilibrium because we did not interfere with it. However, in that period humans still effected our surroundings by producing waste even though it was not in plastic forms.

Environment has passed through the time, and it’s still frequently changing to be more damaged. There is no denying of those issues because it is not only happening in specific region or country but also occurring all over the world. Who does not know about the global warming? this current environmental issue is likely being recognised by people. Hence, that is not all the problems because that is only one of the problems. Besides that, we also acknowledge climate change, ozone layer depletion, acid rain, deforestation and others. After knowing all those issues, we come to the question “Who cause all those stuffs are happening on Earth? And perhaps we already get the answer, it is “Human” who inflicts all those things.

To live their life, human attempt to fulfil their daily needs in order to survive breathing on earth. From hunters-gatherers era and agricultural revolution era to industrial revolution era people turn into voracious creatures. They cut down everything to gain food, establish restaurant and others to actualise their ambitions in the name of commonweal. And finally we will regain our consciousness after losing everything.

So what can we do to preserve our environment and take care of our beloved home, Earth ?? there is no other way that we must have fair considerations in everything that we are supposed to undergo. Is it enough only environmentalist? The answer is a Big “NO” !!!

We need to stay together building the same commitment on utilising sustainable methods to interact with our environment. Therefore, we will be able to maintain the comfortable condition on our planet without harming it.
